  • Taryn Ragels - Pastor

    Taryn is the lead pastor at Fusion Church. Taryn has the unique privilege of having been connected to Fusion since its start in 2011. Taryn and her husband Adam both grew up in Mitchell. They've been back in Mitchell serving Fusion since 2017.


    Taryn has a Master of Divinity from Wesley Seminary in Marion, IN and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from South Dakota State University. She has previously specialized in small groups, local outreach, events, and college ministry in previous ministry settings.


    Taryn loves to be outside on walks, runs, and bike rides, hang out with her adorable pet bunnies, cultivate her green thumb, and eat ice cream as much as possible.

  • Abby fErris - ministry coordinator and Youth Director

    Abby is the Ministry Coordinator and the Youth Director at Fusion Church. Originally from Pierre, she recently graduated with a Psychology and Religious Studies degree from Dakota Wesleyan University (DWU). At DWU, she also serves as the Resident Life Lead, overseeing housing safety and supporting resident assistants.


    At Fusion, Abby aids in Sunday setup, admin, and event planning, and is active in children's, youth, and confirmation ministries. With a strong community at Fusion during her DWU years, she's excited to engage in various ministry opportunities there.

  • Adam Ragels - Techincal director

    Adam leads all of the technical details at Fusion. He leads our tech and online host volunteer teams and also helps with the worship leader team. 


    He is an avid biker and enjoys the outdoors.


    You will probably see him running up and down the stairs to the tech booth on a Sunday at least 4389247 times.

  • Liz Wieczorek - Family Pastor

    Liz is Fusion's Family Pastor. Liz oversees our children's and family ministries on Sunday mornings and our Wednesday Family Night ministries. Liz graduated from MidAmerica Nazarene University with a Youth and Family Ministry degree in 2008. After working as a Youth Pastor for 6 years, she returned to school to earn her Master of Arts in Counseling. She then worked as a therapist specializing in teens and children with intellectual disabilities and behavioral issues.


    Since 2015, Liz has been the "chaos coordinator" (Stay at Home Mom) of her household. Her family moved to Mitchell in the spring of 2018. Her husband, Chris, owns his own business, Fire Protection Solutions. They have three children, Evie (9); Calvin (7) and Izzy (4).


    Some of Liz's favorite things to do are gardening, drinking chai lattes, or taking a mental health walk with a friend. She's excited to be part of the Fusion crew and to get to know your families even better!

  • alyssa stemper - treasurer

    Alyssa serves as the Treasurer for Fusion.  She was born and raised in Mitchell, and now she is growing her family in Mitchell as well. Alyssa, her husband Sid, and their son Jace all attend Fusion regularly.  Alyssa  graduated with her Bachelor's  degree  in accounting  and her MBA from Dakota Wesleyan University.  Alyssa and Sid also serve as worship leaders at Fusion.  Along with her roles at Fusion, Alyssa works at Trail King in the accounting department. 

  • Nate meyers - Connections coordiator

    Nate serves as the Connections Coordinator at Fusion, where he is passionate about helping new attenders get plugged in and feel at home. In his role, he oversees the design and implementation of discipleship experiences that help people grow deeper in their faith. He also serves as a co-leader of the youth ministry alongside Abby and can occasionally be seen preaching on Sunday mornings.

    Originally from Brandon, South Dakota, Nate attended Dakota Wesleyan University, where he played baseball and earned his degree in Nonprofit Business Administration. After completing his graduate studies, he plans to pursue a Master’s in Business Administration while continuing to play baseball for the Tigers.

    Outside of ministry and academics, Nate enjoys spending time with his fiancée, Katie, lifting weights, watching NASCAR, and asking creative “would-you-rather” questions—just for fun.

Lead Team

Fusion's Lead Team is made up of people from the congregation of Fusion.  They meet monthly to help guide and lead Fusion along the path that the staff and Lead Team feel God is calling Fusion to go. Within Lead Team there are three sub committees which include Finance, Trustees, and Staff Parish Relations.
