Our Worship style

We strive for passionate worship, mixing brand new music with ancient hymns sung by the faithful for 1000s of years. Our gatherings do not deny reality but engage the head and the heart as we seek to know more about God and desire to see God in our everyday lives.

Our worship gatherings will be geared to believers and non-believers alike. Singing and prayer will help to usher us into the presence of God while the preaching will be drawn from God's Word and made relevant, useful, and alive to the normal person. It is our hope that we would truly encounter God. That His name would be made great and that we wouldn’t be the same people we were before we came.

While our weekly gatherings are important, we realize that worship is a 24/7 activity; with every word we say (or don’t say), with every act we take (or don’t take), we live lives of worship. We strive for them to honor Jesus in all that we do!

WHAT TO WEAR

People from every walk of life, from every background are a part of the Fusion church family. This means that we also have all sorts of dressing styles too. If you're comfortable coming in a t-shirt and shorts, then come on in! If you want to wear a dress or a suit and tie, you'll fit right in. The truth is that God wants you to come and worship, no matter who you are or what you are wearing, and we think that nothing should stand in your way of praising God. So wear what you want to!

WHAT TO EXPECT BEFORE-HAND

Before the service begins, coffee and treats are served outside the Sherman Center. All you need to do is follow the smell of freshly brewed coffee as you enter the doors of the church. We know, especially if you have kids, that getting to church on time can be stressful and hard. So when you get here, take the time to take in the smells, talk with the people around you as you de-stress and prepare for worship. And don't worry about finishing your coffee before entering the sanctuary, you're more than welcome to bring it in with you.

Stop by the welcome center and discover more about Fusion Church!

WHERE TO SIT

It seems silly, but it's important that you know it's okay to sit anywhere you want. There's no such thing as assigned seating at Fusion Church, just friendly people coming together and worshiping. If you're worried that you won't be able to find a good place to sit, our greeters are more than welcome to find a place for you.

Where to Park

When you are in a rush on Sunday Morning, trying to get the kids in order and in the vehicle. Then trying to find the church, the last thing you want to do is have to figure out where to park. Fusion Church worships in the Sherman Center on the campus of Dakota Wesleyan University. The best place to park is in the LB Williams lot located on West University Ave. The Sherman Center is in the center of campus with a cross on top of it.

What to do with the kids?

Our Church is kid friendly, especially because we realize that kids are an important part of worship. So bring them into worship, we even have a cry room in the back for your use if you want it.

Children's Church

Children begin the morning by joining in the main service and are then released for Children's Church for preschool through 3rd Grade where they enjoy teaching and worship in an age appropriate, safe environment.
